10 Weddings. 7 Days. One Sacred Place: How We Make Eloping at Uluru Possible
Planning a wedding at Uluru isn’t easy, but we’ve made it our specialty. With 10 elopements in 7 days, discover how Elope Australia handles every detail for a seamless, meaningful experience in this extraordinary landscape.
For many couples, the idea of getting married at Uluru feels unreal, with the vast red earth, glowing sunsets, and the undeniable sense that you are standing somewhere sacred. But planning a wedding in such a remote region is not so simple. From managing permits and permissions to travel coordination whilst balancing cultural respect, it takes an experienced and specialised team who knows what they’re doing to ensure a stress free day.
Next week, Elope Australia returns to Uluru to make history: 10 weddings in 7 days. Setting a record run, one we’re proud to care for with precision and deep love for the region.
Why Uluru Means So Much to Us
It all started in 2019, when our founder and celebrant Kate Haley went to Uluru Camel Farm with one simple question:
“Could we have a wedding here?”
Lisa, the farm’s owner, said yes, and that’s where our story begins.
Since then, Elope Australia has developed lasting relationships with the local community and Parks NT, built through consistency, respect and time. Every wedding here is coordinated with cultural sensitivity and thoughtful collaboration, ensuring we’re not just visiting the land, we’re honouring it.
The Challenge and the Privilege of Uluru Elopements
Eloping at Uluru is not like eloping anywhere else.
From managing travel logistics to securing all the right permits, it’s a location that requires planning, connection, and a flexible approach to the outback’s unique rhythm. We travel from Melbourne with our team of celebrants, photographers, videographers and stylists to make sure everything runs smoothly.
We handle the nitty gritty of managing a schedule so you could make space for real, emotional moments in one of the world’s most powerful natural landscapes.
10 Weddings in 7 Days: How We Make It Happen
This upcoming week, Elope Australia will get 10 couples married in 7 days. We’ll work around sunrises and sunsets, adjusting our timelines to light and weather to ensure each ceremony feels just as intimate and special as the last.
For couples, this means showing up and knowing it’s all taken care of. The styling, the florals, the photography, the paperwork, it’s all been done. All that’s left is to take it in, breathe, and say your vows.
And yes, you can even arrive by camel if you’re up for it.
Behind the Scenes: What Makes This Work
It’s taken years to build what we’ve created at Uluru. From our exclusive access to the Camel Farm’s private sand dune, to the way we work closely with Traditional Owners and Parks NT, our presence in this significant location isn’t surface-level, it’s deeply respected.
We’ll be sharing more across the week as our team returns with stories from the sand dunes, behind-the-scenes footage and reflections from our celebrants and photographers as they help 10 couples begin married life in this incredible place.
A Few Spots Left for October
Uluru speaks to a certain kind of couple that’s grounded, adventurous, and deeply connected to place and meaning. If that sounds like you, reach out. We have a couple of places left for our October return and would love to help bring your elopement vision to life.
